LGBTQI+ Therapy in NYC

Services available virtually in New York as well as Florida and Texas.

At A Taste of Healing, we recognize that growing up queer in a cisheteronormative world can come with experiences that leave lasting marks. From navigating spaces where your identity was misunderstood or invalidated to feeling pressure to hide parts of yourself to feel safe and accepted, these experiences can shape how you see yourself, build relationships, and move through the world. For many, these experiences can be traumatic, and their impact deserves to be met with compassion, curiosity, and care.

We also understand that being queer is just one part of who you are, and it doesn't have to be the focus of your therapy for it to matter. Maybe you're navigating anxiety, relationships, grief, other forms of trauma, or simply trying to understand yourself better. You deserve a therapist who understands the nuances of the queer experience without making your identity the center of every conversation. You shouldn't have to choose between having your identity understood and having space for the other parts of your life that need attention, too.

You deserve a therapist who sees the whole of you, not just your identity, but never in spite of it. Whether queerness is central to what brings you to therapy or simply something you want your therapist to understand, you deserve care that honors your experiences, supports your healing, and makes room for all the parts of you.
